The ultimate family friendly day out with something for everyone to enjoy. It kicks off with a street parade at 9:30am then onto the mass band display, official opening ceremony, Scottish country & highland dancing, the highland games, highland cattle display, musicians, performers and visit us among the many Celtic traders there.
The Australian Celtic Festival is held from Thursday through to Sunday, with most events held at the Australian Standing Stones from Friday night. There's something for everyone including Celtic music, poetry and dance, competitions, strongman event, street parade, re-enactment groups, Kirking of the Tartan, massed pipe bands, children’s entertainment, boutique stalls, and more.

The Games begin with a parade of bands, clan representatives and others that leads into the Massed Band Salute and Chieftain's Address that officially opens the day. Throughout the day there will be Highland and Country Dancing, Pipe Band displays, Strong Man events with the Tartan Warriors, as well as tug-of-war, egg tosses, three-legged races, and the famed Kilted Dash to participate in. A multitude of stores and stands surround the area selling all manner of Scottish items, food and drink.
This charming Gathering includes a captivating Street March in the Main Street of Daylesford and a full days Drumming, Piping and Dancing at the picturesque Victoria Park, located at the southern entrance of Daylesford. The end of the day is heralded spectacularly with the Massed Bands.

The Bendigo Highland Gathering is a free community event organised by Golden City Pipe Band. This Scottish celebration of culture and tradition includes the street parade, Scottish stalls, clan tents, musical performances, highland dancing & pipe band competitions and kids activities.
Australia’s largest and most diverse Celtic gathering, attracting audiences and performers from across the country and around the world. Enjoy a packed program of world-class musical acts from Friday night through to Monday afternoon. Enjoy Celtic dance performances & Celtic acts or attend one of the many workshops available. Stroll through the Celtic markets and walk to one of the venues nearby for some good food & drink.

The popular Maclean Highland Gathering is held annually over the Easter weekend. Enjoy the Highland Dancing & Pipe Band Competitions. The Highland Games attract competitors for the social participation and are a spectacle like no other with a programme for Men, Ladies, Boys and Girls. From traditional heavy athletics like caber tossing, log wrestling, shot put, famers walk to field and track events. Don't forget the many Celtic Stalls offering all kinds of products.
Comprising of art exhibitions, stalls, live music, street performance, historical re-enactments, Cosplay competitions, blacksmithing demonstrations, workshops, automotive displays, educational, historical and technological displays; pro-wrestling, a gypsy camp and lots more!
Traditionally commencing with a street pipes parade through Berry, the Festival runs a mix of musical items, from pipes to string ensembles, dancing and singing performances of Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Galician and Australian Heritage origins, demonstrations by the Tartan Warriors, Cornish pasty competition, wandering minstrels, food and Celtic vendors and more.
The Fassifern Highland Gathering is part of the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular. Clydesdale events are both days of the weekend, while the Scots events are Saturday only. These events include; grand parade, calling the clans, scots cuisine, heavy events, workshops, history, along with pipe band, highland dancing and Scottish music performances.
A family friendly event with something for everyone including; the ACT Pipe Band Championships, massed bands, highland dancing competition, the Tartan Warriors, Ceilidh, kilted dash, kids zone with a range of activities, Scottish food stalls and vendors.

An entertaining family event celebrating all things Scottish with a range of activities including; the National Highlander Championships, Pipe Bands, Scottish Dancing, blacksmithing demonstration, kids activites, Scottish & Clan stalls, Saltire Estate premium wines and local gourmet catering.
The Highland Gathering was originally organised to re create traditional New Year Highland celebrations. Combined with Australian sports, recreation and athletics this tradition has a full day of Athletics Competitions, Street Parade, Pipe Band performances, Massed Bands, Heavy Games Event, Carnival, Highland Dancers and Drum Major Competitions, evening concert, firworks and more.
The annual attractions include; free entertainment for children, Victorian Pipe Band championships, South Pacific heavy games championships, Highland & Scottish country dancing, 42nd Royal Highland Regiment, Celtic stalls, clans and Scottish dogs.
The Sydney Highland Gathering at Scots College will feature Pipe Band competitions, Highland Dancing, Traditional Highland events with the Kilted Warriors as well as stalls selling Scottish goods, gifts, fine food and artisan products. Attracting around 3000 people comprising of competitors and spectators to the school in 2018, an attempt will be made to break the world record for the largest bagpiping ensemble in 2020, rain, hail or shine! Compeitions start at midday and finish at 4pm.
