About the festival
The objective aim of Celtic Thunder is to promote and develop a centre of excellence for Celtic Culture in Australia. This aim will be ongoing through the development of an annual Celtic festival that will help promote a centre of learning in Celtic Music, Dance, History, Art, Literature & more.
Celtic culture attracts thousands of visitors every year to many events across Australia and the world, and Coffs Harbour is a much sought after destination on the National and International map.

Set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and sub-tropical rainforests there are a range of activities such as surfing, sailing, rainforest, 4 wheel drive tours, football, golf and horse racing. Attractions include the famous Big Banana, the Pet Porpoise Pool & the Glenreagh Mountain Railway

Coffs was the first Australian City to win the international Nations in Bloom award in 2002. The award recognised Coffs Harbour as the most liveable city in the world for a population of up to 75,000.
June is an absolutely ideal time for an event in Coffs Harbour with its ideal sunny daytime temperatures and beautiful sub tropical location cradled between the mountains and the sea.
If you have a particular interest, or you are a member of an organisation that encourages the virtues of Celtic culture please contact us to be involved or allow us to help support the area of interest that you have.
